According to a March 2020 U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Economic News Release entitled, Employment Situation of Veterans Summary, the employment of veterans in August 2019, 4.7 million veterans, 25 percent had a service-connected disability with an unemployment rate of 4.8 percent, and a 47.5 percent labor force participation rate.
