According to a March 2020 U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Economic News Release entitled, Employment Situation of Veterans Summary, the employment of veterans in August 2019, 4.7 million veterans, 25 percent had a service-connected disability with an unemployment rate of 4.8 percent, and a 47.5 percent labor force participation rate.

The Employer Assistance and Resource Network on Disability Inclusion (EARN) section on Disabled Veterans provides information to assist businesses and hiring professionals in understanding the needs of disabled veterans.

The Apprenticeship.gov’s Servicemen and Veterans Page provides information and guidance for businesses, active duty military, transitioning service members, and veterans on the benefits and pathways into Registered Apprenticeships.

 

The Job Accommodation Network’s Veterans and Service Members Page includes publications and resources that share accommodation situations and solutions for veterans and service members in need.
