Working Across Partners: A Day in the Life of an American Job Center is the second module in the series of self-paced eLearning modules. This module provides tools and resources to support American Job Center staff and managers apply partnerships as an innovative and effective service design to serve people with disabilities. This module includes scenarios to increase organizational learning about the value of partnerships as envisioned by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).

 The objective of eLearning Module #2 is to support learning in the following key areas:

  • Partnerships and Collaboration;
  • Expanding Accessibility Through Effective Partnerships;
  • Implementing Universal Design and Access Strategies; and
  • Leveraging Funds and Resources.

In 2021, the eLearning module was updated to include a new Reflect, Relate, and Apply Activity Sheet. Use this accompanying resource as you complete the eLearning module to draw connections between the topics and examples presented and your experiences on the job.
