EPM-RRTC State of the Science and Annual Disability Statistics Compendium Event

ETA is pleased to highlight a February 12-13, 2019 conference led by the Employment Policy and Measurement Rehabilitation Research and Training Center (EPM-RRTC). Registration is FREE. The annual EPM-RRTC State of the Science and Annual Disability Statistics Compendium offers both in-person or online participation options. An outline of the two-day conference and the link to register to join in- person or online is below.

The employment-focused piece is Day 1 (Feb. 12) and will include presentations on the impact of expansion of Medicaid on the employment of persons with disabilities, programs to improve employment among persons with disabilities, and employment trends. On Day 2 (Feb. 13), the focus is on highlighting the release of the Annual Compendium of Disability Statistics which includes not only national and state employment statistics for persons with disabilities, but other more targeted statistical measures such as disability prevalence rates, poverty rates, vocational rehabilitation data, and SSDI/SSI receipt trends. The second day will also include updates from federal partners that collect data on disability.
